Have a Safe and Great Diwali Festival Celebrations

Every year a number of people across the country, lose their eyesight and sustain burns during the festival. Property is also damaged.

Visually disabled children took out a procession to draw the attention of the state authorities in Lucknow.

The message of 'Safe diwali', 'Happy Diwali' and 'Say no to crackers' was loud and clear at Delhi Public School also. The programme was organised by Dr PK Gupta at lucknow who highlighted that the bursting of the crackers was directly associated with national income. Addressing the children he said, "Crores of rupees is burnt in the form of crackers on the day of Diwali. The same amount can be used for a number of developmental activities". Hope the voice of these children are heard.
